Son City children’s ministry is running with a wonderful staff of volunteers and workers. At Horizons Church we believe in the family and we love our kids. Below you will find the classes in our children’s ministry along with the curriculum that we are using to train up and instruct our kids. Oh yeah…we have a lot of fun too!

Baby Blvd: Our nursery room is for infants through 18 months. Our nursery provides a safe and loving environment for the little ones. Our workers are both experienced and dedicated to these children. Baby Blvd is located close to the adult service for easy access for our parents.

Toddler Town: Our toddlers’ class is for those 18 months-3 years. The curriculum for this area of ministry is called First Look and can be found at the website www.myfirstlook.com. It incorporates lots of object lessons and fun with a Bible story each week. It also engages the parents in the lives of their kids which we believe is the most important part of all.

Pre-K Parkway: Our Pre-K class is for 3-5 year old children. The curriculum for this area of ministry is called My First Look and can be found at the website www.myfirstlook.com. It incorporates a lot of object lessons and fun with a Bible story each week. It also encourages families to continue teaching their child about God throughout the week.

K-5th: Each Sunday morning, our students are taught fundamentals of the Christian life. We also use the curriculum 252 Basics which teaches one virtue each month and then encourages the kids to practice that virtue at home. We have fun games, great story times, prizes and more!
